Fans didn't like the direction Ninja Theory was going with it. Story wise and gameplay wise. However, I believe it has more to do with gameplay. Once fans saw the fist gp footage for it they thought it was slow and not as stylish as the previous games. Also NT bashed the dmc fanbase.

The 'Death' of An Orange. I have to heat an orange in 100 degree water for 30 minutes, then put it in room temperature water and measure the temperature every 2 minutes until it goes to 80. Then I can determine how long an orange has been dead for through temperature.
