| Funny enough how I mentioned before wondering when Amazon would get some new Xbox Ones cause they just got them back in stock. I ordered one! Woot! | |

| I only have Killer Instinct for the Xbone atm. I'm still getting the hang of it but I'm enjoying it for the most part. I wish I had a fight stick though.
So are y'all going to watch lolVGX this weekend? I probably won't because I heard it's 3hrs long and I have a final art project due Monday, so I need all the time I can get to complete it.
Also how I feel about Wonder Woman and The Flash in the MoS sequel, I think they need to slow the fuck down. I thought the idea of Batman and Supes being in a movie was cool but cramming in these extra characters is concerning.

| NO FUCKING SPOILERS.
But I really hope the movie is good. I'm of the opinion that we've yet to see a great Spider-Man movie; hopefully this one changes that.

| I liked the general components of Amazing. The problem is that they spent too much time retelling what was essentially the exact same origin story that the Raimi story already told, and the movie suffered in other areas as a result (particularly with the Lizard, who they didn't really do enough with for my liking). But I felt Garfield made for a better Spider-Man than Maguire, and Stone made for a MUCH better love interest than Kirsten Dunst. Those two were my biggest issues with the Raimi Spider-Mans. Would it have killed them to let Maguire crack a joke every now and then? And Mary Jane was just insufferable.
Still, the first two movies were okay. I'm just hoping for something better going forward now that they've gotten the origin out of the way and can focus entirely on new stories.

| You really just can't make a better choice than that. I'm actually planning on seeing the Daredevil movie for the first time once I go home for winter break; it'll be my introduction to the character. I know the movie's supposedly pretty shitty, but I'm still oddly looking forward to it, if for no other reason than so I can better understand why so many people freaked out when Batfleck was announced. And hopefully this show does better by the character; given Goddard's love for him and his overall track record, I imagine it will. Maybe they'll even get him to do the Defenders series as well. | |

| If you do watch it, make sure it's the Director's Cut. It makes the movie better, but it's still pretty average overall. | |

| Thanks for the tip.
What about the other three Netflix series? As someone with more experience in the comic book world, are you as excited about those as you are for Daredevil?

| Iron Fist is pretty cool. Luke Cage might be good. Never heard of the Jessica chick. | |

| Maybe you should give her comics a try; I heard they're pretty great. Either way, I do think it's very cool that Marvel is finally giving a black and female superhero a chance to make it on-screen, even if they're doing it via television instead of film. Hopefully that will ultimately lead to characters like Black Panther and Ms. Marvel (though they really cannot call her that if they give her her own film) a chance on the big screen. | |

| Watching it on the xbox while I work.
This shit is so cringe worthy.
I like the announcement of a Borderlands game by Telltale though.

| Saw Thor yesterday. Mini-review! - Spoiler:
- I liked the fact that most of the movie took place outside of Earth. I understand why the first one didn't take that approach, but going forward the Thor series should be one that shows off the more fantastical elements of the Marvel universe, and this one did a good job of that. - I liked the directing job that Alan Taylor did; dude's been a terrific director for television for a while now, and it seems like between this and the Terminator reboot, Hollywood has finally taken notice. Good for him. - Some of those Earth scenes were very rough and very tonally off. Kat Dennings was okay in the first movie, but they overused her here. And I wasn't too fond of crazy Selvig. - Some of that shit with the Convergence didn't make a lick of sense. - Malekith was pretty damn boring, which was disappointing. I did like the fact that they had the Elves speaking their own language, though that just makes me even more pissed off about the fact that all of the Germans in the first Captain America spoke English. - Tom Hiddleston's Loki has to be one of the better superhero film villains out there. Dude just completely steals every scene he's in. - The romance between Thor and Jane was undeveloped and boring. On that note, Sif > Jane. All day, every day. - Dat Guardians of the Galaxy teaser. Looks like they're fully embracing the insanity there, which is good to see.
Overall, I liked it more than Iron Man 3, and it's probably my third favorite film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe behind The Avengers and the first Iron Man, in spite of its flaws. Wasn't expecting that, considering the somewhat tepid reviews, but there you go.

| I liked it more than IM3 as well, but it's not my third favorite MCU. I'd say it's my fifth. | |
